More than 100 people were present when Tent India was officially launched earlier today.
Tent has a unique calling and the potential in this work is great, says the newly elected chair of Tent India´s board, Valentin Davidar (in the middle).

From its base in Chennai, Tent India will recruit, train and follow up Christian professionals, students and business people who will bring the Gospel to new places and people groups.
In 2012 one Indian church leader attended the GO Equipped Tentmaking course in Bergen, Norway. He was highly impacted by the course and got a desire to bring the tentmaking vision and the training to India. Now his dream is being fulfilled.
The potential for mission in India is huge. People from India do not have to travel far to get to some of the most important mission areas in the world. 2,000 of the world´s 6,000 unreached people groups live within India´s borders. Christians from India also work in other strategic locations – including in the Middle East and on the Arab peninsula.
Through Tent India´s work, Christians from India will be equipped to carry the Gospel with them. They will effectively share the gospel whether they are starting and running businesses, doing their studies or using their professions.
