This spring you can choose between Finish sauna or Norwegian Salmon if you want to take Global Opportunities´ and Tent´s GO Equipped course.
Kirja college in Keuruu hosts the first course up in GO and TENT´s course calendar. The course starts March 31 and runs till April 3. If you are longing for a cross-cultural treat with sauna, stunning lakes and ice bathing this is the course for you. Main teachers are Ari Rocklin from Global Opportunities and Steinar Opheim from Tent. For many years they have been doing tentmaking courses together around the world.
Tent hosts the course in Bergen, Norway May 4-8. The courses in Norway have for years been the most international ones. Also this year the students will come from a wide range of nations and cultures. People from Bulgaria, Denmark, Norway, England, Nigeria and Brazil have already registered.
The teachers are also coming from many nations. One of them is Sola Adabayo from Nigeria. In the 1990s he started the Nigerian-based tentmaking agency named “The Kingdom Project.” The organization has since then sent out a great number of Christian professionals as tentmakers.
The Nigerian mission enterprise is in many ways the locomotive in the African mission work. Sola will give fresh insights on the worldwide tentmaking movement and help us to see challenges and opportunities with fresh eyes, says Tent´s managing director, Steinar Opheim. Maite and Gerson Celeti from Brazil and Birgit and Steinar Opheim from Norway will also teach at the course.
