Consider Global Opportunities (GO) for Your Year-End Giving

You have enjoyed and benefited from Tentmaking Briefs. Your understanding and vision and heart have grown. You’ve gained more of God’s mind and heart for the world. As you consider end-of-year giving, you have an opportunity to help GO as you have been helped. But helping GO will do more than the team which has helped you.

 It will:

• Mobilize and help more Christians go as tentmakers.

• Expand the church’s workforce by turning all Christians into potential tentmakers.

• Bring the Christ’s grace to people around the world till they see the glory of the only Son made human to reconcile them to God. This is what Christmas is about!

You know what a joy it is to help people come to Christ and follow him. You also know what a joy it would be to receive a letter from a tentmaker you helped to go overseas saying, “I am so excited I just had to write. I started a Bible study in my new apartment like I always do when I move to another area because of my job. Tonight 30 people came to Jesus, and even for me, that is a record.” Giving lets us extend Christ’s glory beyond the immediate circle we can reach directly.

God is extending Christ’s glory through GO. Globally, GO is:

• Training more tentmakers

• Seeing more house churches planted by tentmakers

• Receiving more speaking invitations than can be accepted

There is much more room to grow. Here are specific projects we are pursuing with which you could help:

1. Bring Phill Sandahl, Operations Director, to full time $20,000
2. Develop a higher impact website $ 7,000
3. Build a global tentmaker network, Christian Professionals International  $10,000
4. Finish in the black $15,000
