It can be challenging to attend a consultation where you don’t know anyone. As I was walking down the hall during a coffee break, I prayed for divine appointments with the right people. Immediately, I noticed a man walking toward me. david and I struck up a conversation which led to him coming to our course in Spain earlier this year. He then proceeded to bring the course to the Czech Republic which ended just a week ago.
Together with Nehemia mission agency, they produced the above publications for distribution to churches and groups. The booklet on tentmaking had some 40 pages that were taken from the GO website and translated into the Czech language.
The students at this course were from multiple countries: Portugal, Switzerland, USA, and of course, the host nation itself. The facility, Hotel Friedrich, was perfect; we had good food, a great space for the course, and nice accommodation for students.
At the end of the course, David asked how many would like to be involved in starting a tentmaking work group. Much to our surprise, some six people indicated they wanted to take part. Please pray for this group, and that they will maintain momentum and move forward. They are the right people for this task!
Thank you to the course hosts and organizers – you did a wonderful job! The next course in the Czech Republic has already been scheduled.
Join us in the fall of 2015.
